ABOUT US
The Extension Master Gardeners Volunteer Association of Orange County, NC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established exclusively for evidence-based educational and charitable purposes. The Association supports the Orange County Extension Master Gardener program by managing the financial aspects of Master Gardener volunteer projects and activities.
PURPOSE
The Association supports the mission of the Orange County Extension Master Gardener program by supporting educational and outreach programming, improving volunteer effectiveness, and supporting Extension Master Gardener Volunteers. The Extension Service and EMG program provide direct service to the public through educational programs and outreach. The Association supports the Extension Service and EMG program through fundraising, donations and grant solicitation as well as financial management.
